Hot Classes:

(Radiantly heated)

Hot FLY (80 minute class)

In our teacher training with Gabriel Azoulay, the creator of the sequence for our Hot FLY class, he calls this class “Bikyasa” because it combines the essential healing postures from traditional hot yoga and the flow of vinysasa. This class invigorates your body and focuses your mind. A balance of silence and music, you will sweat in our radiantly heated room, leaving you feeling re-energized, re-vitalized and re-stored. FLY 101

This class is geared towards those of you who are new to yoga or feeling a little nervous about a hot class. Although slower-paced and not in a hot room, FLY 101 will still be challenging. Build confidence and basic knowledge of the yoga poses that we do in the Hot FLY classes, in a smaller room with a more intimate setting. We break down the class into sections and break down each pose, answering questions specific to your body and offering modifications for you. One week we focus on the Standing and Seated poses and the next week we focus on the Warrior poses and Flows. Limited to 7 people – Early sign-up is always always encouraged. (60 minute class)

Vinyasa Flow

Connect with your breath as you move in and out of postures. We encourage each instructor to bring their own creative expression into the room. Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class)

 Vinyasa Class Descriptions (by instructor):

FLY High Vinyasa (Meghan Thivierge) – Through a dance-like flow, this class uses the physical postures to not only develop greater strength, balance and flexibility but to touch the mind, body and spirit. Expect an inspired message, powerful music and strong flow to leave you feeling deeply centered and re-energized. Wednesdays at 6:00 pm – Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class)

Yin/Yang Vinyasa (Anna Volkoff) – In this class you will find the balancing effects of incorporating the yin and yang energies of the practice. Enjoy the strengthening benefits of the heat building yang yoga and allow your body to melt into more passively held stretches within the yin side of yoga. Each class starts with a warm-up and breathing practice, moving with intention to more strength building poses and closes with deeply held stretches for increased flexibility. You will gain strength, flexibility and develop inner self-awareness as you learn to use your breath to flow mindfully. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 am – Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class)

Power Vinyasa (Bryan Fuss) – (Last day of this class is May 14 – New Summer Schedule begins May 15. “Stretch and Zen” will be the new class at this time starting May 21)
Across the United States power yoga has become associated with high intensity workouts. And although this is a physically challenging class, the intensity is achieved mindfully. We focus on intelligent alignment, breath control, and strength building as we safely move into more advanced postures. Classes are designed to increase body awareness and decrease stress as we observe how we respond to difficult situations. Music is played throughout and matches the pace of the class. Previous yoga experience is recommended, be prepared to sweat. Sundays at 12:00 pm – This class is held in the Water Room, so early sign-up is definitely encouraged. (60 minute class)

Vinyasa Flow (Crystal Covelle and Heather Klawender) – Breath-focused movement that is both playful and centering. Expect to flow, breathe, stretch, move, and focus. Typical classes include a mixture of sun salutations, standing & seated poses, and frequently arm balances & inversions. All levels welcome, modifications/variations offered. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm – This class is held in the Water Room, so early sign-up is definitely encouraged. (60 minute class)

Channel your inner rockstar with this full-body cardio jam session, inspired by drumming. Using Ripstix, lightly weighted exercise drumsticks, torch calories and tone while rocking out to your favorite music! Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class) Mondays at 7:30 pm and Saturdays at 12:00 pm.

Light on Sculpt (The 1st “Light on Sculpt” class is on May 15 – The day the new schedule begins!)

In this class you will bring focus to the power of your breath and set intention. Lite on Sculpt is similar to our Sculpt Power Yoga, but non-heated, less cardio and more form and alignment. After a comprehensive warm up (that opens up the spine, hips, hamstrings), we will connect breath to movement with sun salutations. The focus will be to elongate your spine and connect your core through engaging the Bhandas, (internal muscular locks that are intentionally engaged to redirect energy flow). After setting up good form in asana alignment we will add free weights to develop strength and stamina. You will build lean muscle through total body conditioning in a way that will lend more energetic awareness to your regular yoga practice. Monday’s and Friday’s at 10:30 am Limited to 9 people – Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class)

Morning Flow (The 1st “Morning Flow” class is on May 18 – New Summer Schedule begins May 15)

Better than coffee. The benefits of a morning yoga routine are many including boosting metabolism, improving digestion, decreasing stress levels and bringing mental clarity and focus. Wake up your muscles and feel energized with this 60 minute flow focusing on simple postures that will prepare both your body and your mind for a more productive day. Limited to 9 people – Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class) Thursdays at 6:00 am.

 Gentle Yoga

This class is appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. Postures are approached in gradual steps, with plenty of time to focus on breathing and repetition, making the class simple and accessible for most everyone. Limited to 9 people – and this one does fill up often! Early sign-up is always encouraged. (60 minute class) Wednesdays at 6:00 pm.

Mindful Movement

This class is for those who wish to have a balanced practice at a slower pace. Pranayama (breathwork) and asana (poses) work together to hone our internal concentration. We will build some heat with small flows and strong holds and balance motion with stillness in passive postures supported with props. With increased awareness one can move more intentionally through the poses and come to learn what the body really needs. All levels and bodies are welcome and will be supported in their space. Limited to 9 people – and this one does fill up often! Early sign-up is always encouraged. (75 minute class) Mondays at 6:00 pm.

The perfect practice to balance any challenging physical activity – Hot Yoga, Running, Biking – this class will restore your bones and connective tissue allowing you greater range of motion. This is a quiet practice, where postures are held 3-5 minutes. You will leave class feeling stronger, taller and happier. Early sign-up is always encouraged. (We offer both, 60 and 80 minute classes – check schedule.)

Please, come on in, find a comfortable seat on your bolster, smell the aroma, feel the vibration of the singing bowls. BE in your body. This restorative class offers the opportunity for you to FEEL your body. Using Singing Bowls, Aromatherapy, Sound and Breath, you will begin to explore parts of your SELF that have yet to be discovered. We hold poses for longer periods of time. The result is deeper flexibility, better awareness and an overall ability to just let go. Cozy Comfortable clothing is welcomed.
