Studio Terms

(Update as of 9/20/20)

Live Stream Class Reservation Policy:

  • You can sign up for a live-stream class up to 5 min. past class start time, but it may take a few minutes to receive the Zoom link to join the class via email. Therefore, we recommend registering for class an hour or more before it starts to ensure you receive your unique class link in a timely manner.

  • Class link emails will come from Check junk and spam folders if you do not see your link within an hour of class time, (or within 10 minutes if you sign up less than an hour before class time.) Click here for a helpful article to make sure that class link emails arrive in your inbox.  Email studio staff for assistance if you are still not seeing your link within 30 minutes of class start time (as directed to do so in each live stream class description online) so that we may assist you.


Live Stream Class Cancellation Policy:

  • Please cancel any live stream class reservations you are not able to attend at least 1 hour before class time.

  • Any reservations not cancelled at least 1 hour before class start time will be marked as “attended.”

  • No fees are charged for “no-shows” or “late-cancels” for live stream classes, but we ask that you cancel your reservation if you are not able to attend in order for your class to be returned to your account for use another time.

  • No refunds will be given for those who pre-register for a live stream class but do not attend for any reason and do not cancel their reservation before class starts. No exceptions.


In-Studio Class Reservation & Arrival Policy:

  • You must pre-register for all in-person classes at least 30 minutes before the scheduled class start-times. This is due to our limited class capacity and coronavirus prevention protocols in place right now.

  • You will be prompted to electronically complete our updated liability release when you register for your first class in-studio with us after our reopening.

  • Make sure you have text and/or email notifications enabled in your client account so you receive notifications regarding class reservations. 

  • If you sign up for class on the waitlist and receive a text or email notification of being moved to the class roster, confirm or decline your reservation right away. If you move off of the waitlist less than 30 minutes prior to class and cannot make it in time, call the studio and you will be “early-cancelled” without penalty.

  • Arrive to the studio no later than 10 minutes prior to class start time with your face mask on and wait in line outside of the studio front door at the designated socially distanced spot marked out for you. The line will wrap around the Interstate side of our space. You will need to keep your mask on before, during, and after class.

  • Always check in at the desk immediately upon arrival! It is important that your attendance has been confirmed so that your spot is not given up to someone on the waitlist.

  • If you are running late but will arrive and be ready for class no more than 5 minutes before the class start time, call the studio so that we know you are still coming. Per our COVID-19 prevention protocol, no one will be allowed to enter the class once the teacher has entered and studio doors have been closed. Classes will start promptly on-time as scheduled.

  • Bring limited personal items with you to class as locker areas, showers, and water-fill stations are closed at this time. Rental equipment will also not be available at this time. Bottled water and yoga mats will be available on-site for purchase should you forget or need them, however.

  • Our staff will admit you, one at a time, through the front door of the studio where you will be asked to verify that you have had no symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 24 hours without the aid of medication (cough, chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or new loss of taste or smell) and we will take your temperature with a touchless thermometer.

  • If you are determined by our staff to be ineligible to take class based on your self-reporting of the symptoms listed above and/or temperature check of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, you will be asked to leave and not return to the studio until you are symptom free for a minimum of 24 hours without the aid of medication. Your class will be returned to your account as applicable so you can use it at another time.

  • We encourage you to watch our video about our reopening and our protocols in place during this time HERE, if you have not viewed it yet. THIS POLICY MAY BE UPDATED AT ANY TIME AS NEW GUIDELINES AND LAWS ARE PASSED.


In-Studio Class Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cannot attend a class that you are pre-registered for, login to your client account via our Firelight Yoga app, MindBody Connect app, or through our website “My Account” page and cancel your reservation at least two hours before class time to be “early-cancelled” without penalty.

  • You can also call the studio at least two hours prior to class start-time if you are having difficulties canceling your reservation and we will be happy to assist you. Please leave a voicemail if we are not able to answer.

  • If you cancel your class reservation within the two hour window prior to class time, you will be marked as “late-cancelled” and charged a fee of $15. If you do not contact the studio, do not attempt to cancel your reservation, and do not show up for your pre-registered class, you will be marked as a “no-show” and charged a fee of $20. No exceptions.

  • Fees are charged to the credit/debit card on file and a receipt will be sent to the email you have saved on your client profile with us. If the saved payment source is outdated, this charge will be placed on the client account as an amount owed to be settled once the card is updated. (Those with class card packages will keep the class on their account, but they will be charged the applicable fee.)

  • Every effort possible should be made to cancel reservations before the 2 hour late-cancel window. However, if something emergent comes up, (i.e. sudden onset of symptoms of illness, last minute work schedule change, traffic issue, etc.) please just call the studio and let us know asap! We will mark you as “early-cancelled” and waive any fees in that instance. WE NEVER WANT ANYONE TO COME TO CLASS SICK JUST TO AVOID LATE CANCEL FEES!


General Guidelines:

  • Any changes to reservations made with ClassPass, (including cancellations and switching classes,) MUST be handled directly through ClassPass.

  • All classes must be paid for by class start time. If you take a class without a drop-in or class package already on your client account, you will automatically be charged for a drop-in class and receipt will be emailed to the email on file with us.

  • Firelight Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any personal items left onsite during this phase of reopening will be donated. We ask that you bring only what will fit in your designated shoe cubby.

Studio Contracts and Class Package Expirations:

  • Monthly Unlimited Autopay membership contracts are a 4-month minimum commitment. Notify us at any time after the first four months should you need to suspend or cancel. Otherwise, your membership will continue to charge on the same day each month and auto-renew every 24 months. (For members in the discount group, your membership lasts for one year, upon which it can be manually renewed pending applicable verification of maintaining eligibility for the discount group.)

  • Monthly unlimited autopay contracts can be suspended following the initial 4 months at no penalty up to twice per calendar year for 14-45 days. You may combine the two available yearly suspensions as needed for a maximum suspension of 90 days each year. No exceptions.

  • Those who have the monthly unlimited autopay and yearly unlimited memberships will additionally gain access to our library of recorded live stream classes. The password is updated monthly so watch for your email update to come around the first of each month.

  • All regularly-priced studio class cards have a 1-year expiration from the date of the first class taken or reserved. Please read the fine print for all sale packages and special offers as many discounted class packages have a 6 month expiration.


Credit Card Transactions:

  • Every client account must have a valid credit card stored in the profile and we encourage as many cash-free sales as possible during the first phase of reopening. (We do not have access to your credit card information. It is encrypted and stored in our secure software.)


Minimum Age Requirements:

  • The minimum age to practice unheated classes is 13. Clients between the ages of 13 and 16 need to be accompanied by an adult the first 5 times they practice.

  • The minimum age to practice heated classes is 15. Clients between the ages of 15 and 17 need to be accompanied by an adult the first 5 times they practice.

  • A minor’s parent or guardian must be present to sign the new student waiver indicating consent for their minor to practice with FLY.

  • We do not allow unaccompanied minors to wait in the lobby while their parent or guardian is taking class.
