(Update as of 7/3/20)

Live Stream Class Reservation Policy:

  • You can sign up for a live-stream class up to 5 min. past class start time.


Live Stream Class Cancellation Policy:

  • As of July 8, 2020, please cancel any live stream class reservations you are not able to attend at least 1 hour before class time. If you reserved class with a drop-in or class card, the class will be marked as attended if you cancel within an hour before class start time.

  • There is no fee for unlimited class package no-shows or late-cancels for live stream classes, but we ask that you cancel your reservation if you are not able to attend.



In-Studio Class Reservation Policy:

  • Pre-registering for classes is recommended and will ensure that you have a space in the class. Many of our early morning, evening and weekend classes reach capacity.

  • Make sure you have text and/or email notifications enabled in your client account so you receive notifications regarding class reservations. Ex: Text alert notifying you that you’ve been moved from the waitlist to the class roster – Please confirm or decline your reservation when you receive this message.

  • If you sign up for the the waitlist, the same terms as signing up for a class still apply, including the cancellation policy below. However, if you move off the waitlist less than 60 minutes prior to class and cannot make it, let us know and you will be early-cancelled.

  • Please arrive at least 3 minutes prior to class start time. If there is a waitlist, any pre-registered spots may be given up 3 minutes before class time to a client on the waitlist that is present and ready for class.

  • Always check in at the desk immediately upon arrival! It is important that your attendance has been confirmed so that your spot is not given up to someone on the waitlist.

  • If you are running late but will arrive and be ready for class no more than 5 minutes after the class start time, call the studio prior to the 3-minute mark so that we can hold a space in class for you by the door to limit disruptions. (No one will be allowed to join class later than 5 minutes after class start time. No exceptions.)


In-Studio Class Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cannot attend a class you are pre-registered for, please login and cancel your reservation, or call the studio.

  • For 6:00 am, 7:30 am and 8:00 am classes, reservations must be cancelled by 8:00 pm the night before.

  • For all other classes, (between 9:00 am and 7:30 pm,) reservations must be cancelled at least 3 hours prior to class time.

  • All late-cancels will be charged $15. All no-shows will be charged $20. Fees are charged to the credit/debit card on file. If the saved payment source is outdated, this charge will be placed on the client account as an amount owed to be settled once the card is updated. No exceptions. (Those with class cards will keep the class on their account, but will be charged the applicable fee.)

  • Every effort possible should be make to cancel reservations before the late-cancel window, however, if something emergent comes up, (i.e. sudden onset symptoms of illness, last minute work schedule change, traffic issue, etc.), please just let us know asap! We will early-cancel you and waive any fees. We ask for open, honest and timely communication so that someone on the class waitlist has the time and opportunity to come to class. If you are feeling unwell and are experiencing and cold or flu symptoms, please let us know asap. We never want anyone to come to class sick just to avoid late cancel fees!


General Guidelines:


    • This is for your safety, as well as to limit disruptions. Class reservation will be marked “late-cancelled” as applicable.

  • For first-time visits, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to fill out the registration and liability waiver. Please note that first-time clients will not be allowed to join a class that has already begun.

  • Please remain in the class for the duration. If you need to leave class early on occasion for any reason:

    • alert the instructor before class starts.

    • pick a mat spot close to the door to minimize distractions.

    • exit the room prior to the final resting pose of the class.

    • do your best not to make this habitual and plan your time accordingly.

  • Any changes to reservations made with ClassPass, (including cancellations and switching classes,) MUST be handled directly through ClassPass.

  • All classes must be paid for by class start time. If you take a class without a drop-in or class package already on your client account, you will automatically be charged for a drop-in class.

  • Firelight Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We have complimentary locks for client use in the locker rooms. Items left behind will be placed in the lost and found. If items go unclaimed for at least 2 weeks, they will be donated.

  • Please read and follow the studio etiquette.


Studio Contracts and Class Package Expirations:

  • Monthly Unlimited Autopay and Monthly Unlimited Mat/Towel Rental contracts are a 4-month minimum commitment. Notify at any time after the 4-month minimum to cancel.

  • Contracts can be suspended at no penalty up to twice per calendar year. A minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 45 days. OR, a client may opt to suspend once for the year up to 90 days. This is the maximum per calendar year. No exceptions.

  • All studio class cards have a 1-year expiration. Please read the fine print for all sale packages and special offers. Most discounted class packages have a 6 month expiration.


Credit Card Transactions:

  • Every client account must have a valid credit card stored in the profile. (We do not have access to your credit card information. It is encrypted and stored in our secure software.)

  • FLY Perk members may charge small purchase amounts to their client MindBody account. Once the balance owed reaches $5, your card will be charged. At the end of each quarter, our accounting will automatically run all balances owed, regardless of amount.


FLY Perk Members:

  • FLY Perk Members are clients with Monthly Unlimited Autopay, 6-Month Unlimited or Yearly Unlimited class packages.

  • FLY Perk Members have the following benefits:

    • 10% off regular-priced retail items

    • 15% off teacher trainings

    • Discounts on select workshops

    • Free Members-only workshops


Minimum Age Requirements:

  • The minimum age to practice unheated classes is 13. Clients between the ages of 13 and 16 need to be accompanied by an adult the first 5 times.

  • The minimum age to practice heated classes is 15. Clients between the ages of 15 and 17 need to be accompanied by an adult the first 5 times.

  • A minor’s parent or guardian must be present to sign the new student waiver, along with the minor.

  • During the fall, winter and spring months, we offer tweens yoga for ages 9-12 and kids yoga for ages 4-8. Parents and guardians are not allowed to attend the special classes for these age groups – they are for the kids only.

  • We do not allow unaccompanied minors to wait in the lobby while their parent or guardian is taking class.
